Malcolm Brubaker, owner of Michigan Sport Pilot Repair, is offering Light Sport maintenance & repair services in Michigan. Malcolm is a graduate of the FAA accepted Light Sport Repairman course held at EAA headquarters in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. Upon successful completion of the course, which is presented by Rainbow Aviation Service, Malcolm received his FAA Light Sport Repairman Certificate with a maintenance rating and his Rotax service certificate, authorizing him to perform maintenance and inspection on Special Light Sport and Experimental Light Sport Aircraft. Malcolm is also FAA certified for maintenance and inspection on Weight Shift Trikes and Powered Parachutes and offers maintenance, repairs, inspections, pre-purchase services and ground transportation.
Malcolm is a registered sport pilot with an ultralight background; flying and instructing in ultralights for several years. Malcolm provided maintenance and repairs for ultralight units including WS & PPC units, and was certified by Rotax. He made the transition to Sport Pilot under the FAA requirements, and has now brought his maintenance & repair service full circle as well.
As a pilot himself, Malcolm recognizes that owning an LSA requires regular maintenance and occasional repairs. Sometimes due to an accident, incident or personal mishap an LSA will need major restoration. Michigan Sport Pilot Repair is a full service facility located in Midland, Michigan. Serving all of Michigan and surrounding states for regular tune ups to full engine overhauls and complete LSA restorations. Michigan Sport Pilot Repair does it all.
